Last Sunday, few of us got together for a photowalk in the Ginza area. It was expected to be a rainy day so we decided that we would work out the route depending on the weather and light. After spending a few minutes in Ginza and is the rain got a bit intense, we walked towards Shinbashi, explored the old lanes and under-the-railway-track alleys for some time before breaking for a pizza lunch. Post lunch, since the rain had not let up yet, we headed to the Tokyo International Forum, which is a fascinating piece of architecture right in the center of Tokyo. The mind boggling use of glass and metal combined with beautiful natural light presents you with something different to capture every time you visit the place. And this time was no different. We spent much more than the planned one hour and then moved over to Ginza as the rain finally stopped leaving behind interesting puddles of water on the streets and a hazy glow in the air… perfect for some fun photography that takes advantage of these conditions. It was super fun and we enjoyed the very spontaneous photowalk with a great group of people.
